Step 5: Once the OTP was validated successfully, it will take you to the new page where you are asked to enter your address details. You have to enter your complete address with a pin code.

Step 6: Then, click on the ‘Confirm’ button to submit your SIM delivery request. A Jio executive will call you to make an appointment to issue a new SIM.

Step 7: At the time of call, you need to ask the executive regarding the MNP facility and create a unique porting code by sending a ‘Port’ message followed by your ten-digit number to 1900. That’s it. You are done.

How to port another network number to Jio using My Jio App:

You can also port your number to Jio using the ‘My Jio’ app. For that, you need to download and install ‘MY JIO application on your device from the Google play store or App Store. Once you have installed the ‘My Jio’ application on your smartphone, you have to follow the below-given steps to port your number to Jio.

Step 1: First of all, Open the My Jio app on your device and then click on the ‘Not a Jio User’ option at the main dashboard of the app.

How to port another network number to Jio offline?

You can also port your current mobile number to Jio number offline.

Step 1: To port your number to Jio offline, you first need to create a UPC (Unique Porting Code) by sending a message ‘Port’ followed by your ten-digit mobile number to1900.
Step 2: As soon as you sent the message you will receive an SMS with UPC and its expiry date from 1901.
Step 3: And then, you have to visit your nearest Jio retailer or Jio store with the Unique porting code, address proof, and identity proof.
